The first thing i needed to do in order to prepare for my interview was decide on a country. After talking with Puspak I decided on Nepal. I then purchased a digital voice recorder and after playing with it for a little while, I believe I have worked out all the kinks. The audio quality on this device is amazing.
I did some research on Nepal, and then finalized my interview questions. Now all I needed was an interviewee so I went to Atwood Center to see if i could find a student willing to be interviewed. The first place I stopped was the Nepalese Student Association's office, but they were closed. Then I went to the Multicultural Student Services office and after talking with them for awhile they suggested the International Student Services.
While I was heading toward Lawrence hall, I noticed a few students in Atwood promoting Nepal night so I stopped and asked if any of them were interested in being interviewed. To my surprise one of them was and we conducted the interview that day.
